SME and Entrepreneurs Should Grow Together
Global trade should involve various SME and entrepreneurs with the understanding that there is no inherent conflict between all stakeholders. The purpose of global trade will be to foster cooperation in the best interest of all stakeholders who seek to promote economic development and integration into the global economy. And at the same time these stakeholders should identify objectives and strategies for cooperation between themselves to further open up areas where more trade dialogue is very much needed. Global trade agreements between SME and entrepreneurs can be positive if they lead to job creation, skills transfers and revenue generation. However, the critical issue for all stakeholders in relations with SME and entrepreneurs as well as other business partners, “is the strengthening of collective institutions and the promotion of trade and investment links.”
In this case, global trade should create an environment in which truthfulness dominates the willingness to find areas of trade agreement on critical issues and common solutions to difficult problems. Thus collaboration between SME and entrepreneurs on a global scale is a valuable process. The global marketplace will provide business opportunities for all participants that come together on a regular basis to discuss extremely significant and complex trade issues in a serious and constructive manner. The emergence of the global marketplace would eliminate the benign neglect to a more shared commitment based on accelerating economic development opportunities for SME and entrepreneurs in their local communities. In the end, the emphasis should become how, along with areas of social and cultural difference that could be vital and productive areas for cooperation.
